Susan currently paints with the Cedar Hill group and is a member of the Saanich Peninsular Arts and Crafts Society. Her first watercolours were motivated by her love of wildlife, particularly elephants and giraffes, which she painted as fundraisers for wildlife charities. Susan truly believes that she is always in a “state of becoming” as an artist and that she is always learning. Her work in watercolours, acrylics and oils leads her to experimenting with abstract landscapes and patterns from nature.
