Simon works in oil on exhibition wood cradle panel or deep gallery wrapped canvas. While he has studied art in a variety of formal settings, he finds being a self-directed life long learner continues to have the greatest impact on his art practice. Simon has experience creating art in stained glass, especially how it is expressed as
part of the Arts and Craft movement, and that continues to influence his works on canvas.
