Maggy grew up in Hong Kong and moved to Vancouver in her adult years. She has always had an interest in arts and crafts. She joined the members of Roman Dolls when she lived in Japan and learned to make figurines with paper clay on glass bottles. Painting the faces of the dolls and their clothing took a lot of practice. In recent years she has moved to acrylic painting on canvas mostly specializing in wildlife and pet portraits. She supports local charities through her art.
