Judi has lived in Victoria, British Columbia for almost 30 years. Enamoured with the forests, plants, polliwogs, and other woodland critters in the Laurentian mountains north of Montreal where she was born, she studied and worked in the field of forest sciences. Her creative soul has been nourished by drawing and painting since elementary school.
Judi works in watercolours, acrylics and pen and ink. She enjoys fusing her passion for adventures in nature – hiking, biking and kayaking – with painting, often en plein air. Judi is part of the Victoria Al Frescoes and Westshore Artists plein air painting groups. She is participates in life drawing at the Metchosin ArtPod, and is a member of ArtSea and Studio 30 art club.
