Jelena spent most of her life perusing art as a hobby. As a young adult, she realized her hobby was truly her passion. When she starts painting, it begins with a literal sense of an idea but as it progresses, she finds herself exploring with texture, unguided brushstrokes, and the feeling of freedom.
Using acrylic as her medium, her subject matter ranges from animals, to scenery, to general abstract.
