Flo-Elle Watson has attended a number of schools of art including the Kootenay School of the Arts, art courses at the University of Victoria, and the Victoria Art College. She has worked in the art field for more than 30 years creating, assisting, teaching and learning many mediums. After working in clay, oils, watercolours, and acrylics she settled on porcelain painting. Using clean white porcelain as her canvas, she creates original pieces of art. All of her art is hand draw with a black underglaze paint and then painted with a colored pigment. Each completed drawing and painting is fired in her kiln, making it permanent, non-toxic, oven, micro, and dishwasher safe as well functional piece of art.
Flo-Elle is very involved in the art world of Greater Victoria. Her art can be found at Oak Bay studio tours, SPAC Spring show, VAC exhibits, and the Bowker Creek Brush-Up Art show.
