Charlotte enjoys walks in nature and finds herself drawn to painting the beauty of Vancouver island. She particularly enjoys painting trees, experimenting with colours and blends to see where the painting will go. To Charlotte, “trees are a source of great fascination and respect, as I am in awe of their size, strength, solidity, and resilience in the face of the elements. I find great mystery in forests and the amazing array of life that exists within them.” The beach and coastline are also a place of solace and inspiration and Charlotte challenges herself to paint the areas she explores along her walks.
