Barry came from a family that valued art. His brother was an artist as well as a curator, who worked at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York City, which is the largest commercial Art Gallery in the world. Barry began making Sculpture after visiting Italy, taking inspiration from the beautiful city of Florence, and has been making sculpture for 18 years. He describes his work as mixed media sculpture as he loves to make something out upcycled material and glass.
