Adrienne has been making art since she was a child. Most of her inspiration comes from the beautiful surroundings of Vancouver Island and her memories of the prairies. She also draws from her travels and everyday events.
Whether going from a memory or looking at a photo, most of her creations start with a very quick line drawing. Usually she’ll translate a small amount of that directly onto the canvas. Beyond that, there often isn’t a big plan. Following her intuition, the painting will take shape.
A recent graduate of The Vancouver Island School of Art, Adrienne is an emerging artist. She enjoys a variety of subjects and mediums but works mostly in acrylics and oils.
